Neptune Aspects

Neptune refines and sensitizes whatever it touches. It can idealize, spiritualize, or merely deceive. In any area of life, it adds a touch of magic, imagination, or inspiration, whether or not the person is grounded enough in the practical world to use these energies effectively and healthfully.

Because Neptune is one of the slow-moving, outer (generational) planets, this energy really only becomes personally important if it aspects a personal planet or angle, or if it rules or disposits the Sun, Moon, or Ascendant. Or if it is otherwise emphasized in the birth chart.

With Neptune in conjunction with Pluto, you belong to a generation which has brought a fundamental change to human values. During your time power has come to the church or to spiritual beliefs. Music now has a more prominent place in society as a means for change or to affect people's behavior.

Neptune sextile Pluto 

With Neptune sextile Pluto, you belong to a generation which is able to bring about social change. You are part of the changes in government and the approach to human rights. Spirituality and the occult are given more credence or power. Alternatively, some of your generation will choose to drop out of the system.

Neptune square Pluto
