Neptune Transits to Natal Pluto

During the transit of Neptune through your natal Pluto, numerous aspects of your life will cease to weigh you down, propelling you to a new level. This period entails subtle yet highly significant psychological alterations that bring forth consequences and internal shifts in values.

This is an opportune time to delve into any obsessions or compulsions that may be influencing your life and evaluate the extent of their power. Additionally, it is during this period that latent paranormal abilities may manifest, potentially intensifying existing obsessions or weakening their hold on you, allowing for the transformation and realization of your higher self.

Engaging in psychological analysis and psychotherapy can be immensely beneficial as it aids in channeling and harnessing the psychological forces at play. When utilized effectively, this transit has the potential to dissolve past compulsive behaviors.

  1. Could it possibly signal the death of a family member?

    • I thought the same. Example: The 11th house is the 8th of the 4th house and the 4th house would be the house of the parent of the same sex. When it comes to death the 8th house needs to be affected. If Pluto is in the 11th house of the birth chart and Neptune is transiting Pluto, it could indeed mean the death of a woman’s mother or a man’s father.

    • Which one? Which aspect? I don’t know about the hard aspects to Neptune by transit but it could be the 8th house, not sure about house 11 of friendships, but Neptune itself is not the death planet. with the opposition transits it could signify endings but I don’t know about the actual death of somebody. Neptune can also mean the father, and also the fourth house. it depends on the unique chart, so it’s to nebulous no pun to say.

      • Personally, I was referring to transit Neptune opposing natal Pluto (and esp. if natal pluto is in 8th…).

        • I’ve been experiencing the opposition for the past year and a half (due to stationing degree I get it 5 times!) and my grandma died, but most important my decade-plus-long relationship died. Worth noting Neptune on 7th-house cusp.

    • This is what happened to me. I lost my mother (who was a Pisces) when Ceres was right on my Pluto and Neptune exactly opposite. But this triggered internal quests and changes (I’m a Scorpio rising)

  2. GEEKYGUY on said:

Back in the 19th century the composer Robert Schumann (who suffered from depression) tried to kill himself by throwing himself into the Rhein when transiting Neptune was on his natal Pluto (a transit that probably won’t happen again for at least another century).

It is understandable that for unhappy people this transit could mean suicidal idealation since the planet of escapism (Neptune) is touching the planet of death (Pluto).

I would imagine that a positive manifestation of it would be learning to forgive, and the healing of old wounds and resentments.

  3. Neptune is in the 12th house at the moment.. So I think to make our remarks be understandable, we should not oersonise the aspect from our natal chats not unless you are asking a question.
Neptune transits in pisces and that’s my 7th house opposite my natal pluto in Virgo (1st). I would predict that there can be a death of a love life on me but there will be as well a
deep empowerment of the same before the transit passes my plutos degree.

    • I have the same placement as you, Pluto in my first house Virgo and Neptune in the last degrees of Pisces in my 7th house opposing Pluto, I have felt like wanting to die like everything is done for me, I also feel like leaving certain aspects of my life behind and learning more about my mind and my psychic capacities.
