Pisces Fish in red heart surrounded by stars

This is how Pisces gets along with others, based only on their Sun signs. These are compatibility interpretations for all 12 possible combinations with Pisces.

Yes, this is a limited and incomplete way to determine compatibility. But, Sun-sign compatibility is still the base for overall harmony in a relationship. We explained this in one of our synastry lessons where we said that it’s best to start with compatible Sun-sign elements.

The rule of thumb is this: yin and yang do not see eye to eye. Yin goes with yin, and yang goes with yang. While relationships between yin and yang can succeed, they require more work. The earth and water zodiac signs are yin. The fire and air zodiac signs are yang.

Pisces and Aries

Pisces is too introverted and ethereal for Aries, who is a sign of pure action and who faces life without delay. For Pisces, Aries is a risk that they do not think they are willing to take. Pisces needs security and tranquility in order to develop and thrive. These are qualities that Aries hardly gives off. For this relationship to work, Aries must mitigate their impulses.

Pisces and Taurus

Although Pisces and Taurus are both yin, this is a difficult relationship to get off the ground. They must give of themselves a lot in order to understand their different natures. Taurus is primarily a material being, and its life is focused on the material. Pisces, on the other hand, is a spiritual being. Although Pisces also requires the material, its focus is on transcending it. If they learn to complement each other, they will both feel safe and protected.

Pisces and Gemini

Pisces and Gemini are more likely to break up than to settle down together. Pisces will not feel good next to someone as volatile and unpredictable as Gemini. Pisces needs security and containment, two qualities that Gemini cannot provide, even if it wanted to. Pisces will complain about Gemini’s lack of attention and habit of always fleeing from home. Regarding fidelity, it is better to remain silent.

Pisces and Cancer

Pisces and Cancer can build a very good emotional relationship. Their problem is: who will deal with their finances and practical issues? Both are willing to manage the home, but neither one will want to deal entirely with economic responsibility or obligations. The success of this relationship will depend on the way they manage this ground.

Pisces and Leo

Pisces and Leo can make an excellent relationship that should not be taken for granted. This is a yin-yang relationship, and they will have to work on the points that appear conflicting (such as that Leo focuses on the self while Pisces focuses on others). But, they have everything necessary for both of them to have their needs met. Leo has overwhelming strength and will give Pisces the security and protection it needs. Pisces will shower Leo with compliments, praise, affection, and gratitude.

Pisces and Virgo

For a relationship between Pisces and Virgo to work, Virgo must learn to keep its criticizing under control. Pisces is so sensitive that it cannot bear to be called out for mistakes. In this case, Pisces will tend to retreat into their world of fantasy, in which case, Virgo is dismissed from the relationship. This is not a healthy dynamic and it may be easier to go their separate ways. If they both decide to pursue the relationship, these issues can be worked on. Virgo and Pisces are opposite ends of the axis of health, and they can find common ground in that they both aspire to do good.

Pisces and Libra

A relationship between Pisces and Libra is one that will be difficult to realize. Pisces is too emotional and sensitive for the analytical skills that Libra possesses. Libra is very seductive, but this quality will not be enough to satisfy Pisces’s need for emotional security. In addition, Libra’s constant doubting will make Pisces feel increasingly insecure.

Pisces and Scorpio

Pisces and Scorpio make an excellent relationship in which they both feel understood and emotionally contained. Both Pisces and Scorpio give priority to the sentimental and spiritual aspects of life, in which they understand each other perfectly. Pisces’s sweetness will weaken the explosive impulses of Scorpio.

Pisces and Sagittarius

Pisces and Sagittarius can complement each other and form a committed and pleasant relationship. Pisces will have to learn not to excessively demand for Sagittarius to constantly demonstrate their love. Sagittarius will have to learn to prioritize the needs of Pisces, so that Pisces does not become anxious. As for the rest, this is a relationship with a good forecast.

Pisces and Capricorn

Capricorn will offer Pisces an extraordinary world because, from the beginning, Capricorn will take care of solving all problems, of foreseeing possible conflicts, and of sustaining the home. Pisces will feel that it found the love of its life and will continuously shower Capricorn with lavish pampering and caresses. But Pisces must learn to tolerate Capricorn’s frequent moments of emotional coldness.

Pisces and Aquarius

Pisces and Aquarius can form a committed and pleasant relationship if, from the beginning, they have mutual respect for their differences. Tolerance is required. While Pisces must understand the need of Aquarius to isolate itself, Aquarius will have to make an effort to be more emotionally demonstrative.

Pisces and Pisces

Two Pisces individuals in a relationship will have a magical understanding of each other’s feelings. Demonstrations of affection will be common currency between the two. However, conflicts can arise from the need for protection that each one expects from the other. One of them must take responsibility for their financial obligations and material security.

Pisces in Love and Passion

Every time they start a new relationship, Pisces forget their previous disappointments and give themselves up with the best willingness.

Getting to know their partner deep down is a slow and fascinating process for them, culminating in total communion. They like to surround themselves with a halo of seduction and sophistication, and they never cease to amaze their loved one with thoughtful gifts and sumptuous dinners.

Those who have a relationship with a Pisces become part of the Pisces’s private world. They feel very special and receive all kinds of attention.

By uniting their bodies with their loved ones, Pisces seals an emotional pact. They consider sex a transcendental experience.

Their passion is delicate and constant like drizzling rain. Physical contact allows them to deepen their relationship more and more.

They soon become dependent on their partner, which sometimes leads to a mismatch. They want the other person to be fully committed and for both of them to benefit from the emotional exchange. A stable union brings them confidence and happiness.

Pisces in Marriage

All Pisces aspire to share their life with the lover of their dreams. Once married, some extend their honeymoon indefinitely and turn their union into a magical experience thanks to their affection and commitment.

For others, however, marriage is a tremendous disappointment because it does not correspond to their expectations. Unable to overcome the problems that arise in every couple, they settle at the slightest challenge, thus endangering the relationship. More than one Pisces would do well to forget their illusions and accept reality.

Women tend to put their spouses’ needs before their own. They are selfless mothers, able to hold the family together with love.

Men, on the other hand, are guilty of a certain sentimentality, although they are always ready to lend their support, and have much to offer their spouse and children.
