How To Read The Void-of-course Moon Details on the Calendar
The calendar shows the Moon sign for each day. On a day when the Moon goes void-of-course, it will show “v/c” and the time that the void-of-course begins. On a day when the void-of-course ends, you will see “Ing” and the time at which the void-of-course ends. “Ing” stands for “ingress,” which means that the Moon enters a new sign. This is the time at which the void-of-course ends. In the following example, on the 27th, you see “v/c 2:25a” under the Scorpio symbol. This means the Moon goes void-of-course in Scorpio at 2:25am on that day. Then, on the 28th, you see a Scorpio symbol, a Sagittarius symbol, and “Ing 1:46a.” This means the void-of-course Moon ends at 1:46am on that day, and that the Moon went from Scorpio into Sagittarius at that time. You also see “v/c —> Ing” which also lets you know that the void-of-course ends on that day, and that the Moon ingresses into a new sign on that day.
If the void-of-course begins and ends on the same day, you’ll see the 2 zodiac signs, the time of ingress into a new sign, and the time the void-of-course begins. Remember, the time of ingress into a new sign is the time which the void-of-course ends. In the following example, on the 6th, the Moon is in Aquarius. On the 7th, the void-of-course Moon begins at 2:46am, and it ends at 1:08pm. (Note that the time of ingress is always listed first even though the time of ingress is later in the day.)
