Here is some speculation on Hillary Clinton’s strengths and weaknesses based on her astrological birth chart. We’re discussing strengths and weaknesses as they relate to the US Presidential Election, not simply character traits. Strengths would help her during the election season, while weaknesses would work against her.
Hillary Clinton is a 2016 US Presidential Candidate who is seeking the Democratic Party nomination.
This is an incomplete astrological assessment of her birth chart because we can’t be sure of Hillary Clinton’s time of birth. Several conflicting times have been given by different sources, all claiming to give the correct time.[1] So, here I disregard the time of birth and anything requiring the exact time, such as the Moon, Part of Fortune, Ascendant, Midheaven, and Houses. I’ll focus on what we do know for Hillary Clinton’s day of birth.
We know that Hillary Clinton was born on October 26, 1947.
Strengths in Hillary Clinton’s Birth Chart
Hillary has a stellium in Scorpio which includes her Sun, Venus, and Mercury (and Chiron). This gives her manipulative powers which can be considered a strength in politics. However, there are down sides to this stellium (details below).
Mercury in Scorpio gives her detective skills, including the ability to uncover secrets.
Hillary Clinton has Jupiter dignified in Sagittarius. This gives good luck, especially regarding foreign policy, growth, expansion, and other Jupiter/Sagittarius things. Jupiter is not making any important aspects, so this good energy would mostly be experienced in the birth chart House where Jupiter resides, and in the House which Jupiter rules. Without Hillary’s birth time, we don’t know which Houses those are. (This Jupiter would bestow overall luck throughout Hillary’s life if it’s conjunct one of Hillary’s angles, but we need her birth time to calculate her angles.)
Hillary Clinton has Neptune in sextile aspect to Mars. This gives her a compassionate spirit. This also softens her Mars/Pluto conjunction and allows her to let go of control when it’s called for (explained below). Here, Neptune can either give a magical ability to achieve her goals, or else dissipate all her energy and dissolve all of her existing goals. Neptune is like the Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland. We can’t be sure of what it will do. Neptune with Mars can drape Hillary’s actions in a foggy cloud of confusion. But, I consider this a strength during an election because it gives excellent acting skills.
Weaknesses and/or Neutral Things in Hillary Clinton’s Birth Chart
The first thing that stood out from Hillary Clinton’s birth chart is that she has the fixed star Algol almost conjunct her North Node. Throughout the ancient world, the fixed star Algol was considered “the most unfortunate, violent, and dangerous star in the heavens.”[2] Algol is represented by the severed head of Medusa. Robson says of this star:
It causes misfortune, violence, decapitation, hanging, electrocution and mob violence, and gives a dogged and violent nature that causes death to the native or others. It is the most evil star in the heavens.[3]
However, modern astrologers say that the fixed star Algol doesn’t necessarily mean anything negative. It does indicate serious, public confrontations.
Since the North Node represents one’s destiny, this combination can mean serious trouble in any of Hillary Clinton’s endeavors. However, there are two things that neutralize this influence in Hillary Clinton’s birth chart:
- First, the orb is just under 2 degrees. I don’t consider any fixed stars important unless the conjunctions are within a 1-degree orb. So, I would consider this aspect a very weak influence, if any at all.
- Secondly, modern astrologers say that the fixed star Algol doesn’t necessarily mean anything negative. The modern interpretation of Algol is that it represents metaphorically “losing your head over something.” Bernadette Brady says, “This star seems to contain immense female passion and power.” She also says:
Algol represents a strong consuming passion that may devour you with anger and rage. If one can contain an unconscious compulsion to take revenge, and from that passion return a more productive outcome, Algol is one of the most powerful stars in the sky. Whatever planet it affects in your chart will be charged with strong, intense […] energy that has the potential to be wonderful, or if repressed, to lead to rage or violence.[4]
This influence is then neutral because it could go either way, depending on how Hillary chooses to use her passion. Stephen King has the same Algol/North Node conjunction and released this dark passion in a positive manner through his books. John Cusack, with the same conjunction, did an excellent job portraying Edgar Allan Poe in The Raven movie. On the other hand, the malevolent Algol energy can sometimes completely overtake you, as it did to Mike Tyson in the 1997 “Bite Fight” in which Tyson bit off part of his opponent’s ear. Tyson also has Algol conjunct his North Node. So, this influence could go either way.
On the North Node, Algol will force Hillary to confront issues regarding her true purpose in life (North Node represents your true calling). Whereas some people can remain in the wrong career for many years without fulfilling their calling, Hillary cannot get away with that. Algol forces confrontations.
(Donald Trump has Algol in conjunction to his midheaven which indicates that he’ll be forced to confront serious issues in the public realm/community.)
Moving on…Hillary Clinton’s Venus is in detriment in the sign of Scorpio. Venus is our attraction factor. Venus in detriment makes it difficult to attract what you want, whether love or money. Further, her Venus is squaring a conjunction of Mars, Pluto, and Saturn. This makes it even harder for Hillary to attain what she wants. Although, Venus is in mutual reception with Mars/Pluto, which may help soften the situation. She will still have to overcome difficult obstacles to get what she wants.
Mercury conjunct Venus would normally add a pleasant touch to the communication style, but since Hillary’s Venus is in detriment, this is not really a positive aspect for communication. Venus in Scorpio makes it extremely difficult for the nicer qualities of Venus to be expressed.
Further, Hillary Clinton’s tightest aspect is Mercury square Saturn. It’s almost exact, with an orb of 2 minutes. This basically ruins her communication style. She will have difficulty communicating pleasantly. Depending on her exact time of birth, her Moon is possibly making a trine to Mercury. If so, that would certainly help to ease this influence. It would add a beneficial, sensitive touch to her communication style. But we can’t be sure without her time of birth.
To further complicate her communication style, Hillary Clinton has Mercury retrograde in her birth chart. This must be a weakness because only two Presidents in US history have had Mercury retrograde: Benjamin Harrison and Harry S. Truman. Harrison’s Mercury was dignified in the sign that it rules, Virgo, and it had a beneficial trine from Jupiter which would mitigate any negative effects. However, Truman’s Mercury was not so lucky, and coincidentally, he is noted as the most unpopular President in US history. Senator Ted Cruz also has Mercury Retrograde, and it will be interesting to see how this plays out.
Hillary’s Mercury is in opposition to her North Node with an orb of less than 2 degrees. This can mean that she often thinks about the past. It can also mean that her communications are an obstacle to her proper destiny (since the North Node shows one’s destiny).
Hillary Clinton has Mars conjunct Pluto in Leo. She has a strong need to get her way, and the willpower to get it. She can be obsessively focused on her goals. This may be a positive influence as it gives her a strong will and determination. However, she has Saturn in detriment with this conjunction, which adds obstacles and can restrict her ability to achieve her goals. Saturn in Leo here can make her look bad and selfish in public. To (possibly) help neutralize this aspect, she has Neptune making a sextile to the conjunction. This can soften the effects and add a positive, selfless, compassionate touch.
If Hillary Clinton was born before 9:31 pm on October 26, her Moon is in Pisces. If she was born at 9:31 pm or later on that day, her Moon is in Aries. Either Moon sign would be a weakness for her campaign. Pisces would be bad because not one US President in history has had Moon in Pisces. An Aries moon may be bad because Aries is the single most under-represented sign when comparing all major signs of US Presidents, including Sun, Moon, Ascendant, and Midheaven signs. Statistically, America shies away from both of those signs.
Other Factors Influencing Hillary Clinton’s Outcome in The Presidential Election
Hillary Clinton is currently undergoing a Saturn transit conjunction to her Jupiter. This will remain in effect (within a 1-degree orb) until at least the beginning of October 2015. During this transit, one experiences restriction, a lack of growth, and a lack of good luck. This can involve legal issues and authority figures. This is considered a negative time. After October, the influence will clear away.
Hillary is also soon to have a communication helper. Jupiter will transit her Mercury with a sextile aspect. This will give good luck to all her communications. This will greatly help her during the election season, particularly on days when this transit is exact. She will be able to communicate with ease on those days. This transit will be in exact sextile with her Mercury three times. The first time will be in effect (within a 1 degree orb) starting on November 26. 2015. It will be exact on December 4-5, 2015. The influence should last until December 17, 2015.
The second time will begin on January 31, 2016. It will be exact on February 11-12, 2016. The beneficial influence will leave by February 21, 2015.
The third and final time will begin on July 22, 2016. It will be exact on July 28-29, 2016. The beneficial influence will be gone by August 3, 2016.
After that, Hillary Clinton’s communication style will be back to normal. She’ll no longer have the good luck from Jupiter.

One was that she has favorable planetary position to run for the 2016 US Presidential election. The other was that though she has favorable planetary position for running and winning as well the 2016 US Presidential election, her actual becoming US President would be concluded after taking into account the planetary posture in birth charts of her opposing Presidential candidates in the race to White House. The happenings commencing last year 2015 in relation to the election predicted in the said article have been precisely accurate. The conclusive prediction for November 2016 could be published at the earliest.

Yes , on hindsight I can say I was precisely accurate in my prediction about Hillary Clinton. She did contest the election as a powerful contender to Donald J Trump in 2016. She gave a tough fight to him but as said , stars of President Trump were stronger and far more powerful in 2016. So Hillary Clinton lost. And I had in 2016 predicted a clear win for President Trump in 2016 on record , as early as March 2016 followed later also. And that turned accurate.
